Services: Comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, & management of fertile & infertile stallions. Breeding soundness exams. Starting and training stallions to the breeding shed. Semen collection, processing, and storage.
Collection and shipment - chilled semen $275 Semen Collection This fee includes: Semen Collection Computerized sperm motility analysis Semen extender Sperm concentration and total counts Shipment packaging Sperm longevity (computerized sperm motility @ 24hrs) Equitainer rental FedEx shipment and return If owner provides equitainer and shipping, deduct $100 Prepaid deposit of $300 is required for Equitainer. The day Equitainer is received will be considered day one (1). If FedEx does not have possession of Equitainer by day 2 another $45 will be charged to you. Deposit will be forfeited if container is not delivered to FedEx by day 3 of receipt. If day 3 is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday then it must be in FedEx's possession by the first business day.
Stallion Breeding Soundness Exam (BSE) $400 ($350 for stallions using collect & ship services) This Fee Includes: Physical exam. 2 collections 1 hour apart Testis measurement, palpation, & volume calculations Computerized sperm motility analysis Sperm cell morphology (normal, abnormal, immature) Sperm pH, and chemistry examination Sperm concentration and total counts Semen & extender compatibility Sperm viability for chilling & shipment Sperm longevity (computerized sperm motility @ 24hrs) Bacterial cultures before and after collection EVA serology or vaccination
Starting and training stallions $120 per hour Training stallions to collect on phantom mare. Modification of undesirable reproductive behavior.
Collection and storage - frozen semen $350 + $40 per straw Please contact us for details
